Anyway, being a proper boring **** on this dreadfully rain hit day, what is your own personal regional dish? Mine is the Eccles cake, given I am from Eccles originally. The other is Lancashire hot pot. @Suckmyklopp , a saveloy maybe? @luvgonzo , a cawl? or should i just STFU?
It’s the Boro equivalent of a kebab after a night on the lash. ****ing rancid things and I speak from experience.
I suppose it comes from Italian immigrants back in the day. There were loads of cafes around South Wales owned by the Bracci Brothers and others, the steamed milky coffee that's so popular now was something I first encountered in the late 70's
Clearly you’ve never tried a Wigan kebab. Proper East End pie and mash is one of my favourite things though.
