So one incoming today... Adomeh probably, but would prefer Willock

There is a lot of crap talked but Warbs thinks we are after 3...
This is getting out of hand! I can’t keep up! Have we won the lottery?
where’s Watford when you need him?
Would love Adomah because he is Rangers and knows what it means.

I’m still struggling to understand why he turned down a move the Club Bruges where he would be playing in the group stage of the Champions League this season. Even if he’s after a big pay packet in the PL, that would have been a much better shop window for him, and said something more about his character and ambition.

Let’s hope he signs, tears up this league this season, and we sell him for a shedload next summer.

Except not everyone wants to go abroad and learn a new language etc etc. It doesn't necessarily mean he lacks ambition or is a slur on his character.
Maybe he decided he just wanted to play in this Country and there haven't been many other tempting offers, which wouldn't surprise me, as I feel he needs to develop more and another season with us is ideal for both player and club imo.

Yeah. The only way that deal is £2m is if 500k is up front, 500k is spread across three years and the rest is performance related - 50 goals, 100 appearances etc etc
I think you’re right about the £2m.
Charlton fans a bit excited about the price and putting him down. Hope he proves them wrong - he’s got a lot of work to do as a forward in this side, he’s had a big step up and will need to put some graft in this season to show signs of potential as he hits 25 soon and needs to show that development. Good luck lad.

£2m

That's the complimentary tweet. Charlton fans all over the place saying we've been mugged off... :emoticon-0104-surpr

Let's just hope it's cos they're bitter

Charlton Athletic
On 17 June 2019, Bonne signed for Charlton Athletic on a three-year deal.[44] In the forwards' pecking order, Bonne was fourth behind Lyle Taylor, Tomer Hemed and Jonathan Leko, who joined during the same transfer window as Bonne and was previously deployed as a right winger. Charlton manager Lee Bowyer used two forwards most of the time, and when Taylor got injured during an international break with Montserrat national team and Hemed was struggling with minor injuries, Bonne was given his first start in Championship in gameweek 9 in a home match against Leeds United, in which he scored the only goal. He didn't hit the net against Swansea next gameweek, but in the next four matches he scored one goal each.

Just glad we've signed another striker rather than got stung by a loan fee for someone's else's. Hopefully he settles in well and doesn't get the Conor Washington treatment.

I'd expect 2 more signings to address our lack of depth in the creative positions in midfield. Seen Albert Adomah and Joe Willock linked, Andre Green apparently has other options and would be a pleasant surprise rather than a priority according to Sean Gallagher on Twitter who's a reliable source.

I have heard that before with Clint Hill/Derry and even the lad from Bristol City. Just frustrated fans I guess.

Not really a transfer...but when I was saying we need Bonne as we could not get through a season with just Dykes and Oteh as his backup (with Alfa going out on loan I am sure)...I had forgotten we have another CF, Marco Ramskilde.

Now he isn't making the bench and worst he is not making the u23. Anyone got any idea what is he upto. During lockdown he got a couple of short run outs, and I heard that it was not just because he came unfit...there was something else but never found out what...he still does not seem to be showing for us. His ciontracts is only until the end of this season, and he was a free transfer. So not really a big worry
