It was great to hear 3000 city fans making more noise than 70,000 plastics yesterday. I ended up in the Stretford end and could hear the OTBC more than I could hear the plastics around me. One plastic got very annoyed that we were there are started to have a go at us, until some mancunians told him to FO back to London. Yep, he was a cockney red, they really do live up to their stereotypes!!

    Bollocks <ok>

This sort of thing might have been applauded on the old 606, but not on here.

I'm not quite sure of your point, I was just stating an experience that I had at the match, I thought and certainly my partner thought there had been a sea change a change in the game as well, but alas no. I expected to have football conversations with fans not idiot glory hunters and for a cockey red to be abusive and physically threatening to a woman is simply disgusting.

She couldn't understand why people have a tendency to be down on ManU fans, well she found out yesterday as do many other fans who go to OT. There is simply too high a proportion of arrogant fecks within the overall decent man u fans.

Not too many Man U glory hunters from London, apart from the Tourists as they would suffer abuse and alienation where ever they go he was probably from Surrey or Kent.... Take Jips statement with a big pinch o salt:eek:

There are literally thousands at every game, i know at least 30 people with season tickets at OT, given I live in manchester and when you can get them to be honest, there are 1000's of 'outsiders' He was from London, he had a protracted debate with some Irish lads who were supporting us as just a couple of people come to watch a football game.

If they alientated every cockny red, or at least every tourists, OT would never be more than half full.

I didn't expect to feel so full of annoyance. I actually preferred going to Burnley and Barnsley last year than to Chelsea and Man U. Just better banter and a better day out overall.

I have lived in the Capital for nearly 12 years and i know a few MAN U fans, they just wear the colours in their homes......If you have Arsenal, Chelsea ,Tottenham Charlton, Palace, Hammers, Orient ,Barnet, Millwall and QPR fans all hating you i can see why they give attitude when they make that annual pilgrimage to Manchester:emoticon-0114-dull:

I live in London and anyone born there should have no trouble picking a local team, for them to Glory hunt Man U must be very costly, better off following Barca

It baffles me that anyone would want to not support there local team. It's far more fun in the long run. Give me the hardship so I can appreciate the good times better that's what I say. Wherever I am on earth I have unbreakable connection to the place I grew up through Norwich city football club and I wouldn't change it for anything.

Yep Mr Beefy. It is as easy as that. And what's all the better about NCFC is that it is a county team as well. Works well for me, I may have been too forthright in explaining this to non mancunian Utd fans yesterday, oh well. There is no joy at OT within the home fans, it was about we should be three up. So little passion for football. Still at least I now know what it's like to go to a football match and sit amongst plastic cut outs.

In a strange perverse way, i was more hardcore when we were in Lg1...... Almost as if every cell in my body was obsessed about City getting to the level that we belong at... The financial side was actually terrifying, now we have a team, Manager and board worthy of my obsession i can relax ...:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I'm with Beef on this one, was born and raised in Norwich and despite my exstensive travels ( and 6 years in scumland:emoticon-0114-dull:) would never consider supporting anyone else.
At this time I am the proudest expat in Mexico because I support City. People here are fascinated with the Premier League and are now starting to talk about Norwich:biggrin:
Soon be time to start a supporters club here. Excellent game Saturday (apart from losing) Can't wait for Swansea...............OTBC
