Yes the government are bending over backwards to try and keep kids at school and University, but most young ones seem to be spreading the virus with some behaviours.

Why don't you comment on what the Doctor had to say rather than the comments?

You know I'm not too sure you are. Yes there are a lot of recorded infections but fortunately there doesn't appear to be a corresponding second wave of fatalities. Long may it continue. If you take Dr Yeadons views then perhaps there is now sufficient resistance in the community to avoid the deaths that occurred initially and the testing is possibly over exaggerating those people that are infected. I suppose you could argue it's better to be safe than sorry and take the necessary precautions, just in case. Looking what happened here I would say we didn't get a second wave. It looks like it if you just look at the graphs but in reality it was probably just the first wave escaping and getting out of control. Looking at the other countries that also appear to be getting a second wave of increasing infections there is generally no comparable surge in deaths. There are obviously better treatments now and also those that know they are vulnerable are taking extra care but there could be something in his hypothesis. I guess it comes down to being cautious and doing the right things and making sure the daily fatalities don't get out of hand again.

Alright, I'm feeing optimistic today but it's worth hoping that things are looking up and the "second wave" will be a bad cold or flu and no excess deaths.

Because I didnt listen to the Youtube video, as I had already heard the broadcast previously. But I obviously hadn't read the YT comments section of that video before today.

So I had a quick look through and having read about we have had a SuperMoon in the last 12 months and that this was all to do with the various equinox's and that it all to do with the funding for Project Moonshot ( as well as many other replies that were thoughtful and structured ), when Chesh asked when the broadcast was from I helpfully replied, and just noted that some of the comments in the section were quite extreme.

Other than that I am quite content for my view on all non football related threads to remain precisely my own

no he was responding on a public forum, I will admit that he quoted your post in respect of the question asked, but it was done publicly so anyone who is registered to the forum may reply if they so wish, unless of course you consider that person to have different views to yourself it seems ;) (even though I have expressed no views on the subject in the title thread ) :emoticon-0102-bigsm

By the way my name is also not Arthur, nor has any association with anybody called Arthur ;)

It wouldn't be much of a forum if people all agreed with each other, some just don't want to answer a simple question and would rather obfuscate and change the the narrative.

I totally agree and thus I did as you have mentioned and answered a simple question posted by a member of the forum on the thread, so I don't see what the issue is.

In addition I answered the question you asked me, so not sure why you think I am trying to change the narrative

I asked why don't you comment on what Dr Yeadon had to say to JHB, instead you'd rather take the piss out of some of the comments the public made
Fair play if you'd rather keep your thoughts to yourself, i was just asking.

The fatalities are rising, and because there was very little testing around during the first wave, we were estimated at 100,000 a day in April/May where as now due to hell of a lot more testing the 7000 a day is probably in reality 15,000 a day, but only a few weeks away from the big numbers if masks etc don't slow it down.

I hope you aren't going to see a rise in fatalities, as I said I still think you need to do the right things, masks etc, until you know which way it is going to go.

The only answer to all of these questions will be hindsight,
People will die, jobs will be lost and after all this is over,
Politicians will sit around a table blaming each other.
    Some things will never change.

Toilet rolls were needed for the first wave.

Apparently the Christmas pudding is required for the second wave.

People are actually panic buying Christmas puddings.

Maybe it's just evolution. The Christmas pudding blocks you up so you don't need the toilet rolls.

Some extra level thinking going on in the UK!
