United were poor today. Rooney and Hernandez looked off colour, Park looked unfit as did Fletcher, Nani and Anderson did ok. The defence was just as bad. Leaving space all over the show. We did it against Arsenal when they should have scored 5, Chelsea should have scored 5, Basel should have scored 5 and Norwich today should have had about 3. We are really missing Vidic and we need to shore up our defence NOW.

Take nothing away from Norwich though they were terrific. 2-0 definitely flattered us and they should have had a point.

I hope they stay up because what Lambert has done is akin to what Holloway did at Blackpool but he brought them 2 back to back promotions. Some achievement on their budget.

Good luck Norwich. Top club.

yeah i agree, but dont you think ever since we made those changes for the benfica game we've completely gone off the boil?we're not playing at the same pace as before,or with the same fluidity.our build up plays slower, and we've become abit static in midfield.i really wanna see the cleverley/anderson partnership back, because that looked very good.they had a good understanding, and that gave us a much better balance in midfield.our defensive coaches really need to earn their money before the next match.

It looks as though Cleverley is a big miss in our midfield. As well as Vidic in the defence. I also think we should be starting with Welbeck as opposed to Hernandez right now. He is in form and so is Rooney. Plus when Welbeck and Cleverley play together their link up play is superb.

When Fletcher is 100% we should allow Anderson forward a bit more to support the front men but in my opinion he needs to work on his one touch football. Too many times in a game Anderson does too much with the ball and runs himself into trouble. With Cleverley it is give and go. Anderson could learn a thing or two from him in all honesty.

Really! Against Man United! To get the chances we did today was brilliant! We played well against one of the best teams in the world! We also did a lot better than Arsenal

What I meant was that although we got into some good positions going forwards, we were not clinical enough. Chances like we had yesterday must be taken against the better prem sides. I have no doubt at all that we will be fine this season, especially based on performances like yesterday. Thing is, we could easily have taken something from the match and with better/more decisive play up front we would have. Probably being a little critical, but that was almost the only fault in our performance.

The only other small thing was the way we seemed to allow ourselves to be pushed into defnding too deeply just before they scored the first goal.

Buy hey, it was Man U away for ****s sake. all in all a superb performance.

Having seen motd, and we got some good feedback from the pundits, the pilks one on one, bennett break in the first half and when morro should have crossed to an open Wes, well they were 3 clear cut goal scoring opportunities

I'm not worried we didnt score, but let's not do it again. We took the opportunities against Sunderland mind,

If only bennett or morrison had lifted the ball over the last defender then morrison / Wes would probably have scores

I think I have just repeated kennys comment!

I'll just add to the above that on another day, Pilkington's deflected shot would have just clipped the post and gone in, or come back off the post and gone in off the keeper!

All in all, a very creditable performance <ok>

Absolutely, but when you play well it is finding the small details that might be improved that make you better. Not just patting yourselves on the back and sitting back thinkin job done.

They were superb yesterday but there are one or two areas for improvement.

I had no issues with strikers yesterday as they didn't have proper chances, they only provided. My issue was the supply. We just needed to be a little bit quicker, sharper and more decisive with the crosses as the Man United defence was too quick.
