Saw it on telly and while it was happening i cried great tackle, then the card comes out, nonsesical. It was a 50/50 ball to begin with. Therefore to be exact Rodwell didn't even tackle Suarez, Fellaini did, the ball sprung lose and Rodwell got to it before Suarez did, he kicked the ball away and his trailing led crashed into suarez. it wasn't a severe impact but surely suarez felt it. There was no reason for him to go down though like he had been shot. I appreciate Suarez as a great player but he's a cheating little *****. It's not the first time he's done something dodgy and it probably won't be the last. Same goes for David Silva at City. Great player, quit the theatrics please.
The red card totally ruined the game today, it was a decent game up to that point, at least it was end to end stuff.
Still surprised that 40 mio worth of Newcastle investment finally yielded a goal for you. I don't think Suarez/Carroll is working, I'd give Carroll Kuyt a try, and put Suarez on the wing. Downing went AWOL today and Charlie Adam looked like he was panting after 30'. Gerrard still class regardless of what people say.
