Whoaaaa, hang on.....I thought you didn't believe in the virus <laugh>

Wrong.

There is a virus, it’s just clearly not the killer that our incompetent Government spent six months trying to convince that it was.

Tomorrow, it is expected that tens of thousands of people are going to take to the streets of London to demonstrate their anger at the lies and the destruction of lives.

So if it's not the killer that the Government were trying to convince you it was.....using your very own words, why is it...

it’s madness that this cup competition was permitted to go ahead without ALL clubs being properly tested.

Me think you're being a fooking dickhead <ok>

exactly when have they ever called off a competition because of a bit of flu <whistle>

You seem to be missing the point ...

I can assure that I am not.

Rather, it is you not understanding mine.

Spurs have benefited from the bye in terms of progression in the tournament (and probably financially too)

Yes. That’s the rules of the competition.

... Orient have had what to them is a substantial amount of money taken away (a sum which would mean nothing to Spurs) ...

Again, this is down to the rules of the competition. I’m failing to understand how Spurs is at fault, here.

hence Spurs could make a magnanimous gesture that would help a small club in these troubled times ...

Ah, there it is!

The “moral imperative” argument.

Sorry, but there is absolutely no obligation on Spurs to do anything other than abide by the rules.

Perhaps Orient should reimburse us the £4K for the tests? Better still, how about the EFL reimburse us? How many clubs has Levy saved by highlighting the extent of the infection at Orient?

there is no obligation ... it would just be refreshing to see.

Sorry, but you have just put forward an argument that there is a moral imperative on Spurs to pay compensation. That’s simply saying “obligation” but using different words.

Our late owner donated £2million to Leicester children's hospitals and a further £1 million to Leicester University hospital ... when a young Leicester City fan was diagnosed with a rare chromosome disorder (MECP2 syndrome) and his parents set up a fund to research it he paid in £44k so that it reached it's £100k target ... no obligation ... just putting something back into the community ... an example of "doing the right thing" when you are in a position to do so... <cheers>

That’s great, Fosse. Your late multi billionaire owner sounds like he was a very generous bloke.

I don’t make the rules.

If was down to me, there would be no restrictions.

But it isn’t down to me. The Government has made the rules, and football has to play along, including Orient and Spurs.

The idea that you run a competition without insisting on everyone being tested, in a climate that ensures that you get closed down if you fall foul of its rules is madness.

It’s a shame that I have to spell this out to you, but you clearly lack the ability to think this through for yourself, so I am glad to have been of assistance.

Thank god its not down to you... I'd rather have trump

Exactly mate.

Let’s cry arse about having to wear a mask in a shop as it’s such an infringement of civil liberties, by holding a mass rally when the R rate has raised dramatically and that very action is likely to lead to more infections and increase the likelihood of further restrictions. Thick ****s one and all.

For what it's worth, we have a history of helping clubs we play who are in financial difficulty.

In 2005 or 06 we played Grimsby in the league cup and gave them a donation and auctioned spurs shirts to raise money for them.

While it is not in the rules for Spurs to help Orient out I hope we do.
Many of us have bought merchandise from Orient just to help them out a bit...last I heard it was over £25,000 from Spurs fans buying shirts and programmes.
We are auctioning shirts off for the Justin Edinburgh charity and I think that it would be a kind gesture to help out Orient.

My only gripe (and it aint about people on here) but Social media and national media is full of criticism of us spending money but we were going to use the furlough scheme yet it appears to be completely forgotten that Arsenal have made 55 staff redundant while spending millions on transfers and giving Aubameyang a EXTRA £150,000 per week.

Anyone else think there's a fair chance utd **** up again tomorrow.?

Imagine not responding after last week's performances, nah.. Won't happen.

2-1 utd
