True, I did think we were playing the skint card a bit too loudly earlier in the window but I do also think that the Bale and Reguilon deals took a large chunk of the transfer/ wage budget too. I reckon the only way it could happen is if we get a sizeable fee for Dele as well as binning the deadwood ASAP, whilst getting Inter to drop about £10m-£15m off the asking price. Not impossible but I’d say it’s unlikely.
