    Tuesday 22nd September 6pm
    Carabao Cup Third Round
    Brisbane Road

Three matches in and I think it's fair to say that we've yet to hit our stride, despite a good result on Sunday.
A very poor first half against Southampton was followed by an emphatic result in the second one, though.
It'll almost certainly be all change for this match and the manager will have his work cut out for him this week.
Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday matches, one of which involves travelling to Eastern Europe.
Can Mourinho get a full 90 minutes out of a team for this one or will we suffer an embarrassment?

I'd like to highlight this before discussing Orient, as I think it's a nice gesture that we can all get behind:

It's a shame that fans can't be in attendance to show our appreciation for him.

Last season was a difficult one for Orient, following their previous promotion from the National League.
Justin Ediburgh won them the division and a cup and then sadly passed away in the summer.
Ross Embleton took over the manager's role temporarily before being replaced by Carl Fletcher in October.
The former Wales international only lasted 29 days though, before handing back the reins to Embleton.
A mixed campaign saw them safely finish 17th, well clear of relegation.

They've had a positive start this time out too, going unbeaten so far in the limited games that they've had.
An opening win at Oldham was followed by a 2-2 draw with Mansfield.
Success in the League Cup against Forest Green Rovers lead to a memorable comeback against Plymouth.
Orient were 2-0 down at the break and nicked it with an injury time winner:

The full game is also available on their Youtube channel for the really dedicated!

For anyone searching for links between Orient and Spurs, there's a few to be had.
Ross Embleton spent some time coaching in our academy and a couple of our players were there, too.
Lee Angol, a striker, came through our youth side and has moved around a lot, despite still only being 26.
Lawrence Vigouroux is another, though the keeper spent little time here before joining Liverpool.
Hector Kyprianou is the last that I could find. Spent a few years here after joining from Cyprus.

We've face Orient 15 times in competitive games, apparently. The latest was in 2001, though.
    Our record currently stands a P:15, W:10, D:3, L:2.
Here's the highlights of one of them from 1977 in the 2nd tier:

Tanganga and Bale are our only confirmed injuries at the moment.
    Neither side has any suspensions.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Doherty, Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Ndombele, Winks, Hojbjerg; Moura, Kane, Son.
Subs: Hart, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sissoko, Lo Celso, Lamela, Bergwijn.

Orient: Vigouroux; Ling, Coulson, Happe, Brophy; Dayton, Cisse, Clay; Sotiriou, Johnson, Maguire-Drew.
Subs: Sargeant, Thomas, Widdowson, McAnuff, Wilkinson, Angol, Dennis.

Ref: Gavin Ward. Spends most of his time in the Championship.

    TV: Sky Sports.

How would you like to line up for this one and what would you change from the Southampton game?
Would you stick with much of the same lineup, make a few changes or go for a wholesale switch?
Which system and tactics would you use and what are you expecting Orient to go with?

Jose’s said that Hart, Aurier, Toby, Lamela and Dele will play. I’d imagine there’ll be minutes for Gedson, Sessegnon (unless he’s leaving on loan), Bergwijn and Sissoko too. He’s also considering using Kane which I think is a risk. Reguilon won’t play but will hopefully be available at the “end of the week”, whether that means Shkendija or Newcastle I’m not sure.

    Imagine something like:

    Hart
    Aurier, Sanchez, Toby, Sessegnon
    Gedson, White, Sissoko
    Lamela, Dele. Bergwijn

That team should be more than enough to see us through

Surely we will see 11 changes with Thursday imo being more important.

I would select Gazza (Jose will pick Hart), Aurier, Foyth, Alderweireld, Cirkin, Sissoko, White, Gedson, Sessegnon, Dele, Lamela

Jose has said that Regulion won’t be available until the end of the week (whether that means Thursday or the weekend, who knows). If Aurier isn’t fit then I hope he is for Thursday and Doherty can play. As such

    Gazza
    Aurier Dave Toby Davies
    Gedson Winks GLC
    Bergwijn Alli Sess

Starting Kane would be tempting as I worry about the fixtures now but he’s definitely going to start Thursday so I think we need to take the risk of getting the Orient game done without him initially. I would expect the bench to be extremely strong as we don’t really have to travel for this one.

Hopefully if the Os have to forfeit, THFC will siphon a decent amount of
whatever win bonuses accrue from R3 to the end, to the Os as a
    charitable donation.

The Breyer Group Stadium and training ground facilities will be closed until further notice.

They are due to host Premier League Tottenham in the EFL Cup on Tuesday and say an announcement on that match will be made "shortly".

Orient will have to use whatever players they have available, reserves, U21`s etc, it is wholly unfair but a reschedule is not good for our fixture pile up, and they will also want their TV money, forfeiting should not be an option imo.

    Jose moans at fixture congestion.

Spurs paid for Orient’s latest round of testing.

    Results come back positive.

Game likely to be cancelled with Spurs awarded the win.

    Jose’s done it again.

Supporter of a "Sky 4" team or Citeh, is he (assuming he is not a
"posh snob" who looks down his nose at the sport) ??
