Tories completed their **** over of millions of women in their 60s today. Proud Tory Britain. My mam just wants to retire and free her job for the younger generation. I don't want me Ma working to 66 in a Male Prison.

The Election cost her over 40 grand as Labour was actually going to compensate these poor women for what these Pension robbing bastards have done. Now she faces working in an environment full of scum into her old age. I won't lie, I'm really ****ing worried about her having to do this.

So, as Son of a coalminer and a WASPI Women who had to see me Da plunged into Tory poverty cause he broke his back, who will see his dear ma worked into old age in a dangerous environment, is it any wonder I hate the privileged Tory ****s with a passion?

Both my grandfathers died at 65, they barely received a penny in old age pension between them, despite "paying in". The Tories do not want us plebs to have a pension as you are no longer "economically active" and they see that as a drain on taxpayers money which could be far better spent giving tax breaks to their millionaire paymasters. Work 'til you drop is the ideal scenario for them. Kids starting work now will probably not receive state pension until their 80's. Pensioners of today have seen the pinnacle of the welfare state. The Tories are effectively closing it down.

Yes I am truly blessed insomuch as I am in recept of a pension now.
The UK is rapidly regressing and tumbling ever faster to Victorian times and conditions.
0 hrs. contracts - which have the feel of a subserviant pool of labour, caps in hand, outside the work gates, touching their forelocks. . . ‘Please sir can I work today. ‘
The slow wasting away of ‘free at point of delivery’ NHS. The encouragement to take out private health insurance - boosting income to the already filthy rich.
The slow strangulation of the nation Old Age Pension scheme - again so that the private companies can benefit grossly.
Yes l am truly blessed - I’ve had my time graftung and am reaping the rewards - but it my children and grandbairns that I feel for. KTF

I'm finished work i n a couple of weeks. It will mean a huge drop in income, but with my house and car paid for, I will just about manage on my works pension. At 60 I don't want to be working night shifts any longer. i may look for a part time job if I get the urge.

I remember being in a train carriage with Waspi campaigners after an event in London. Lovely people and a few wines it was hilarious. I’ve looked out for them ever since. I share your pain and frustration. Plenty of money out there in the higher echelons. Can’t for the life of me work out why governments wouldn’t want to share it out and make people healthier and happier. The economic works for those that don’t need it’s help.

As a normal working class man I absolutely believe that we have nothing in common with what the Labour Party have become. I see no other viable alternative for the working class other than the Conservatives.

Labour apparently said that they were going to compensate the women who have been affected by this age equalisation, but their promises (another election ploy) have been proven to be like pie crust in the past, as have Conservative promises, therefore I don't believe for one second that they would have done this

Mrs. A. has been affected by this change, and it's not fair to anyone that it does affect, but Labour (like the Cons) will lie 'through their teeth' in an attempt to get what they want, though they didn't this time, so I don't think that these women would have been better off if Labour had had a capable/electable leader at the last election, unfortunately

These women were forced to work on till 65+
Many were in I’ll health but kept on working
The people that it iffected the most were woman in low paid and physical jobs
But there had no option but to struggle on
The other side is the women in light industry office workers and professionals
(Infact that’s why the rule was brought in )
They were physical capable of working on till 65+ however still not right
And as I have said previously
If any one was in any hard ship the government would say well benefits were available
Nevertheless the damage has been done and all women have now had time to
Make arrangements for there retirement
Not like the 65+ women who had 3 years notice that there 63 years and 3 months pension date was moved to 65 years and 3 month
Not much time to make new retirement arrangements

I agree with the first sentence, not so much the second. Mainly as I see no political representation for the average working person as I genuinely think they're all a bunch of self serving ****ers who are only interested in their own bank accounts and self importance.

Not hard to make a promise that you KNOW you will not be held to.
Labour KNEW, from their own research, that they had no chance of winning.

And while I'm at it can I remind those who will follow Labour, blindly and without thought, that the party is not imune from Priviledge, both of their last two leaders having had the benefit of Private Education.

Those who can view everything only from the point of view of 'My Party Right or Wrong', do themselves no favours in my view.
IF by some odd, remote, chance a Political Party does something right there is no harm in saying so,
IT'S NOT AS IF THIS WILL BE A REGULAR OCCURENCE whichever Party is in office.

As for the pension age, it was bound to happen.
Once the campaign to obtain justice in the workplace for Women and have them paid the same as man for the same job, then equality was going to have to mean equality.
It's also worth remembering that when Pensions were introduced in 1909, the average working man was not expected to live much beyond 65.
The system SHOULD have been set up with the contributions collected being invested so that the interest could pay the pensions.
Instead pansions were paid for out of current contributions and the balance, over time, moved to pensions having to be supported by taxation.
Also, women live longer than men, statisticly .

And for those who think I'm mean spirited on this I should say that my wife, who has contributed for mosy of her life, (time off for bringing up children), had hers delayed.
