Ridiculous eh? ... until you consider that between 2013 and 2017 public sector workers pay rose by 1% ... MPs pay over the same period rose by 20% ... not many MPs took umbrage at the disparity ... but the same pricks that are now wanting to be seen praising the 'valiant NHS' did vote against giving them a pay rise not that long ago ...

You can’t though. The limit of 6 applies inside and out.

So you can book a table for 6 in amongst a restaurant full of people or stand with up to 5 mates in a packed pub.....but no more than 6 in any one party.

Bonkers.

My eldest daughter will be allowed to work with dozens of punters in her pub for hours on end but can't spend the an afternoon in the garden with her boyfriend, mum, dad, sister, grandma, grandad.
Can see serious numbers thinking it's bollocks and refusing to follow the rules...can see the old bill being very ****ing busy tbh.

It's Michael Gove's policy. It's policy based on slogan not science.

the idea that over 1.5 million employees would get a 15% pay rise in a time of of financial disaster is laughable even if it has nothing to do with fairness .

True
I don't think any other Government would have done any better but they have lost a lot of credibility with their lack of cohesive policy and actions
It is a shame
They are in limbo. None of us ever expected this kind of thing.

Had China come clean right at the start we might have stood a chance, nearly every country is in the crap over this
It not not so much what Governments do as how they present it that causes confusion and resentment
