can you actually play, or just a you tube ****er?

Yes. I was initially taught by a professional musician, by that I mean, he had a degree(s) in music. It's all he had done all his life and still does but not in the UK anymore. Done well for himself out of it.

Would I stand up on stage and play, no way. The music is for me. How good am I...well I can play what's in that vid (She sell's sanctuary) if that's an acceptable level, also some of the Ennio Morricone stuff I've put up. It's more what I like, I don't generally do all this three basic chord stuff. I get bored very easy with the repitition of it.

I make an exception for people like Bob Marley, just because it's pretty cool and he normally has a straightforward catchy riff behind it. Can I play your favourite song, Hotel California, of course I can <laugh> barr chords, I'm talking about, not all the other stuff, would need to practise that.

Could I teach someone, well I could get them on the way to playing a guitar. That would be more me, than playing to an audience. So if that counts me as a youtube fooker, then there you go. Although youtube is just my support, it wasn't like a lot of people these days, the initial or my only learning mechanism.

Like I've told you before, if you had or have the ambition to play an instrument, go do it, and stop making excuses. <ok>

I only asked a question. It just seems to me that whenever these conversations come around it's all about guitars. So was wondering if there is there anyone who plays something different.

Suppose it's going to be about what you know. As I know guitars, pretty pointless me chatting anything else. Wouldn't mind having a pop at keyboards sometime, as I have reasonable knowledge of music, I'm interested to know how quick I would pick it up.

If I had to pick one unique thing to learn, it would be Sax.

A sax would be cool.

I'm a Madness fan, the sax was always a big part.

I also remember Gerry Rafferty used a Sax, in Baker Street. Roxy Music / Bryan Ferry. Not forgetting Careless Whisper by George Michael and.....
