Do you not think part of this is down to how big our fanbase is? The more fans you have, the more idiots you'll have. For what it's worth, you do also get plenty of Arsenal fans on Twitter moaning about AFTV and how they don't represent the fanbase collectively. It gets criticised a lot by our own.
Liverpool and Man Utd clearly have more fans than you. That excuse doesn't wash.

Did I say that? Keep trying to put words in my mouth. It's working brilliantly for you.
Ahh, i misunderstood when you said AFTV are an embarrassment to Arsenal, i thought you meant they were the only ones.
It's good to know that Spurs (and every other club) have embarrassing fans too.

Of course they do. Man Utd definitely do...

Come back Lidls. Some of the Old606 posters would be aghast at me posting that! <laugh>

They just like to poke at other clubs mate, makes them feel superior.

Manchester United have two fan channels that have 830k subscribers and 558k subscribers respectively, when both of them began after AFTV became as big as it was. Relatively speaking, they get ridiculed and mocked too for having delusional fans probably more than us.

There's only one major Liverpool fan channel and that has 424k subscribers. To be fair, the guys on here are generally decent and don't overreact, but that's partly because they've gained more popularity since Klopp took over and, well, they have very little reason to whinge given their success.

You're talking about the subscribers, but you suggested earlier that a lot of AFTV's aren't Arsenal fans.
That shouldn't have anything to do with the quality of the product, if you get what I mean.
The people that feature regularly on AFTV are almost exclusively total bellends.
Why isn't that true for every other club?

So you don't watch Spurs fans videos but are very familiar with Arsenal fans posts?
AFTV's go viral, due to their ridiculous nature. I'm only familiar with one of your lot, for example. Goldberg or something?

The only one i know of ours is The United Stand which i heard about on here, the guy who presents it is decent and informative but dull. I have watched Red Men TV (again picked up off this site), the two guys that present that are absolute boring twats.
AFTV (again picked up off this site <laugh>) is at least entertaining.

I don't look at any of them as a reflection of the clubs, why do you?

Yes - the point being that United fans have just as many dickheads on their fan channels, which has probably played a part in their viewership and subscribers increasing. Especially The United Stand. They've increased exponentially over the last couple years, mainly for their outlandish reactions.

PNP, we're going round in circles here. This is your perception. We have no way of knowing whether this is true. I think Expressions and the brothers from WeAreTottenhamTV come across as pricks, and The United Stand/Stretford Paddock both also have unlikeable characters too. You're more aware of the ones from AFTV because it's the first one of its kind to be ''successful'', and there's longevity there with the people who come on the show.

I'm not familiar with it, so I can't really comment.

That's not what I'm saying. You said that the AFTV lot are almost all exclusively bellends, and that this isn't the case for other clubs. I'm saying to you that other fan channels have bellends as well, but you're just not aware of it to the same degree. You've kinda proven my point with your posts above.

All fanbases have bellends. That's not something that anyone's disagreeing with, as far as I can see.
AFTV features them almost exclusively, though. Whenever I've seen anything from other channels it seems to be a mixture.

Apart from DT, Troops, Claude, Ty and Lee Gunner (who is a colossal twat), the rest are ok, in my opinion. There's some on there who provide good analysis and insight. My guess is you don't watch it that often or only watch it if the bigger names have a video circulating.

How many of them are there?! <laugh>
You've named five, missed Moh who's a massive twat and the only other one I can think of is Kalechi.

You must log in or register to see media

That's the whole room, barring the bloke that runs the thing.

Honestly if you packed every fan tv group and matchday vlogger into a rocket and fired it into the sun the world would be a better place.

I’m of an age where that sort of thing is supposed to appeal to me and I just think they’re a bunch of ****ing idiots. Never got the appeal.

I don't see an issue with giving fans a voice, and having shows where fans provide their perspective on things, as well as doing collaborations with other fan groups. Some of them are more useful than the pundits on BBC or Sky. But I think overall it gains attention for the wrong reasons. As sad as it is to say, fans seem to be more interested in watching other fans overreact and lose their temper than watch any intelligent football-related analysis/conversations.
