nothing crazy

cumin powder
Chilli powder
Bit of turmeric
Coriander powder
Salt
Garam masala
Garlic/ginger paste
Went and got a load of spices last week from Bush Market.
Was asking cos the only curry stuff I got was caribbean curry powder, garam masala, lemon chilli powder.

Now I know to get coriander and cumin:emoticon-0148-yes:
I've got chilli and the rest in that list, any more you recommend?

for me when I’m cooking a curry they are the basic herbs n spices tbh

Now and again I throw in some dry fenugreek the odd curry leaf but not always. Use the stuff I listed above and you’ll get yourself a very curry tasting curry. I don’t even use Turmeric powder in all my curries.

Start off all my curries with onions, garlic and ginger, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin and cardamon pods.

You make your own Roti and Patoori breads too homes ?

Was in town earlier so picked up a thai take away...gai pad kaprow & some pork/prawn noodles. Little place called Thai Aroy Dee and it's the best most authentic in Leeds if anyone wants a recommendation for this neck of the woods.

Having it later though as need to chill out and relax a bit before stuffing my face <ok>

Have a friend who lives up crossgate way, near old vickers tank place. Anywhere near that?

not always...maybe if I’m cooking for someone

some times it’s just less hassle picking some fresh stuff up from down the road

you?

Nah, I'd like to. But same I've got a mate Ruby June who makes some ****ing banging Patoori bread. So I usually just get a few from her.

Would never dream of spending money for a chinese/thai meal,
