We've made 3 solid signings nothing more, so nothings changed really.. There's going to be a huge push to credit Bruce from the media.. Its really more about making the fans look bad than anything else.. I see they instantly jumped to Bruce picking the players unlike the crap managers bought in the past... Graham car used to get the blame, but he wanted Wilson years ago, aubemeyang, deli alli but he never got them and the fans turned on him eventually.. The buck stops with the club when it comes to signings.. He managers get credit for getting results. I'm not fooled by people's hidden agendas... I hope Bruce does well, but if he doesn't they'll say he needs time... If he does well they'll say told you he was a good manager maybe the fans should be saying thankyou..
I don't get some of the negativity to be honest. Assuming Lewis signs, that's four very good signings that strengthen us straight away. They're all PL proven and would improve most clubs in the bottom half. It represents a very good window, and anything more makes it excellent. I'd feel confident with us finishing around 11th - 15th and it will be fun finding out where exactly
I keep hearing this word and I think it's actually offensive.. People have opinions and imo it's not being negative, but more so they're being grounded and realistic... For the fans that have concluded something different and see the team maybe pushing for higher than usual that's fine and I respect your opinion .
The signings are good but it's not enough to pull me back in. A flash in the pan does not make right all the previous crap. Should this be sustained over a few windows then I'd be more convinced.
I think they're potentially good signings, but anyone thinking 3 average British premier league players will change our position is in for a fast reminder imo.. They would need another 3 of similar quality before it would change anything and even that wouldn't guarantee an improvement. You never really know.
It was as always the truth.. There's an announcement in around 28 minutes ish... a U turn surrounding nufc
Just busting your little news story. It's not only going to benefit Newcastle, great news for your lads however. Seems unfair that you can't even watch the MNF games away at the big clubs in Sept
I think the premier league decided to give the nufc fans a little pat on the backside after they raped them in the end. Mike Ashleys taken over now for some of the same.
