It looks like the two stupid ****s have left the team hotel and gone somewhere else with these Icelandic ladies.
A click-bait headline; young men away from home breaking rules, we've all seen senior sportsmen in all kinds of sports who have done worse - they'll get slapped wrists and move on, hopefully learning from it.
Nah not having that, these are not normal times. Months and months of restrictions on what joe public can and can't do, pubs closed, no sport to watch live, not allowed to see relatives, no weddings, not able to go to funerals and loads of other stuff. Getting football (and other sports) up and running was supposed to be a lift for the masses. A couple of young men out for a jolly could get it all knocked on the head.
Yes it's been done before but when there's covid around? They've been dumb but pretty irresponsible too.
Yes. You can't equate it to Bobby Moore and a few others sneaking out for a few crafty bevvies. Though Alf Ramsey dealt with that brilliantly. They all thought they had got away with it as they thought no one had seen them come back inbut returned to their room the next day after training to find their passports on the bed. They got the message. These to have been irresponsible and selfish as their actions could have had far-reaching implications for other players and clubs.
Wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't a ****ing pandemic. Idiots, both of them. Hopefully, they learn from it.
Professional, highly paid sportsmen should act like they are profesionals. I know they don't get paid a fortune for playing for England but they should pay more respect to the fans and the manager who picks them for the honour of playing for their country. I feel they won't learn, they exist in a bubble, free from the worries that most have and think that the rules which apply to mere mortals don't apply to them.
You seem to have developed an unhealthy obsession for birds from Iceland...Switch shops before it's too late.
Both players have been fined by 250,000 Icelandic Krona ($1,800, £1,350) by Reykjavik police. If that was the police woman who came out of their hotel and got into a car, she was a bit chunky. (Sky news)
