Sunderland AFC’s 2020-21 squad numbers have been revealed ahead of the Sky Bet League One season.Four of the Black Cats’ five summer signings have been allocated their numbers, while some players have switched ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Aiden O’Brien was the first recruit through the door, and the Republic of Ireland international will take the number 10 shirt.
After signing permanently on Wearside, Bailey Wright swaps 26 for five, while Morgan Feeney will sport no.15.
Lee Burge has taken on the number one jersey after it was vacated by Jon McLaughlin, and new stopper Remi Matthews will wear 20.
George Dobson and Tom Flanagan are the most notable changes, going from 18 to eight and 12 to three respectively.
After returning from a successful loan last season with Harrogate Town, Jack Diamond will take up the no.21 shirt.
