Thanks! I've tested the app on my Apple TV and I can watch the live channels they have and the content to stream, so hopefully it will be good. The smart DNS proxy (not a VPN, but uses name resolution to look like the request for the site is coming from the US rather than the UK) I use here is excellent as it also lets me use all the stuff in my daughter's Hulu sub like Bravo, ABC, HBO etc and of course NBC sports, but Peacock is extra.
Yep that as well. I use my daughter's Hulu sub for most things and my backup is IPTV. If you can get a US sub (obv I use hers) a £4 a month smart DNS sub is perfect as it doesn't go down. EDIT: I bought the Peacock sub on my own now as I get paid in $$$ and have a US bank account now
Yep good, but long hours as I tend to work till 9 or 10pm to get in sync with them, and although nobody expects me to start until 1 or 2pm, I end up starting at about 10 or 11 most days. To get back on topic, the best part of working for a US company is that none of them know about ‘Soccer’, so no Liverpool love in during meetings
Didn't realised my IPTV had run out (I want to watch England but it’s on sky) so just renewed for 12 months (costs £70) all re subscribed in about 5 minutes,
OK, found this which isn't bad. https://www.radiotimes.com/news/sport/2020-09-01/premier-league-fixtures-2020-2021-season-dates/
I do think it’s farcical that more games won’t be shown on tv. What do the premier league have to lose? They’re not losing money by allowing free to air games because the money can’t be generated by other means anyway given that there’s no alternative....
I was reading something the other day about the Premier League worried that once they let the genie out of the bottle, it will be hard to put it back in. However, I think they are making it worse as more people who never thought of illegal streaming will do so now.
Don't think it's down to the PL is it? I thought the broadcasters were worried about 'diluting the product' by showing every game. Still think I might happen though if only for September. I'm not supportive of it long term unless the ko times are no longer 3pm Saturday.
They’ve been a bit sneaky this season, if you want to use both tablet and TV you have to sign up for “Multi-room” usage, which costs £120. Still worth it when you think what it gives you though.
