Whilst on the subject of presidents of the USA, it has happened twice in their history that 2 ex presidents died on exactly the same day. Thomas Jefferson and John Adams managed this on July 4th 1826 (Independence day) - which two managed to achieve this on the same Boxing Day many years later ?

I know that Ford and Truman both died on a Boxing Day - but I'm not sure it was the same one?

It was indeed the same one BB. They both died on Boxing day the 26th December 1972 within a couple of hours of each other. Over to you.

Ford must have the unique honour of becoming the first president to be elected after his death - he was president from 1974 to 1977.<yikes>

Which international football side's record reads: played 4, lost 4, goals for 0, goals against 70?

Just goes to show that you can't always believe what you read in the net <doh> Ford did indeed die on Boxing Day but many years later !

Can't think of too many clues for this without giving it away.

    Think 'island'...

Sherlock Holmes : ''So my dear Watson, what do you make of this''
Dr Watson: ''Bearing in mind the originator i would hazard a guess that this is obscure - possibly Antipodian''
Sherlock Holmes: ''I rather tend to agree about the last bit'' ''but there is always the possibility that the truth is closer to home - have the Isle Of Man ever played as a team'' ?
Dr. Watson: ''Could this be an Island which does not have full sovereignty'' ?
Sherlock: ''This could explain why they only played 4 matches' Watson''
Sherlock again: ''We need to offer a solution and see if he inadvertently gives any clues away as a result''
Dr Watson: ''We could try Fiji or Tonga and see what comes back before planning our next assault''
Sherlock: ''Tonga has a certain ring to it but are they really that bad ?'' ''They're pretty hot at Rugby - and why only 4 matches ?''
Dr. Watson: ''Definitely not obscure enough''
Sherlock: ''Are the Galapagos Islands obscure enough'' ?
Dr Watson: ''I rather like the sound of that''
Sherloch: ''Ok. we'll go for the Galapagos Islands and see what happens''

The truth certainly is closer to home - in fact almost at home. The population of the Galapagos Islands is around fifty times the size of this place...

It certainly is. Their only four matches resulted in four losses - 0-20 to the Isle of Wight, 0-19 to Gibraltar, 0-16 to Greenland and a much improved 0-15 to Frøya - all in the 2003 Island Games held in Guernsey.

    Over to you.
