On the subject of having no accountability... It says it all that the Lib Dems choice for their new leader was either somebody who was part of the coalition who voted with the Tory whip almost as much as Swinson did and isn't apologetic for it at all, or somebody who became an MP post-coalition who says the party needs to reconnect with their core voters (who don't exist, but that's another story...) to repair the damage done by the coalition and try to reposition themselves to align more with the policies and politics of Charles Kennedy instead of those of Clegg or Swinson - and the twice as many of the ****ers voted for the former than the latter
Vote Lib Dem, get Tories. They're literally pointless. You may as well just vote Conservative in the first place.
That's what happened to me. It's hard to believe now, but to a great extent before that election, the LibDems were arguably the more radical choice than Labour. And contrary to what "new leader" says, I will never forgive them.
They completely tanked their own party and they blame everyone else for it. Sarah Ludford's the perfect example of why they're basically dead, as her follow-up tweet is just slagging off Labour. There's a lot wrong with that tweet, but the lack of self-awareness is incredibly damaging.
Our electoral system doesn't leave room for a third party unless a lot of people vote tactically. If more Labour voters would vote LibDem to get the Tory out in the South West then we could have a permanent LibDem Labour government. That was particularly true in 2010. It was in the hands of Labour voters to make sure that Labour would have more MPs than the Tories but because they won't vote LibDem it didn't happen
It says a lot that she uses the exact same "Labour don't have the numbers" line that Swinson was using last year as an excuse to dupe people into believing that it wasn't her fault that Labour and the Lib Dems couldn't find a consensus The fact is that if Labour and the Lib Dems went into coalition in 2010 they would have had a combined total of 215 seats, which is nine more than the Tories had - and it really underlines what utter ****s they are that they said they wouldn't go into coalition of Gordon Brown was leader, so Labour jettisoned Brown...and they went into coalition with the Tories anyway and didn't even have the sense to get any kind of assurances for it
Looks more like someone with severe mental issues, to me. Genuinely. No idea how he managed to get that amount of (hopefully) mayonnaise around his gob, either. Better not let the public see him with that sandwich or he'll get Millibanned.
He is certifiably but I'm not sure the people of the USA have spotted that , the same can be said of the UK with BJ
Not the first time his administration has invented terror atrocities in a bid to control the Narrative...
