Eze's too good for us
Eze's too good for us
.....
.....
Who was the best?
Who did you enjoy watching most?

Best in an RRRRS shirt
Not talking about the future

Eze is a far better player than Adel (ducks for cover) because he does so much more for the team
The team was built around Adel, it worked in the Championship, where the opposition was not as good and his team mates were much more compliant.
It did not work in the PL, and Adel was not good enough to go it alone

Eze has produced his magic in a not very good team. He started all the league fixtures this season and he worked his socks off, and then produced momenents of pure brillance...all done happily and with a smile.

Eze was the best since Stan.

Stan was the best we have ever had

Well said Beth, in a nutshell to be precise.
Couldn’t have put it better myself !!!

In terms of pure enjoyment, Adel was from another planet. We were lucky to buy him just for what he did in that one season.

For entertainment, I don't really care that he didn't work hard - that makes you appreciate them but it doesn't make them truly special talents.

He should have been right up there with the absolute best and its his fault he wasn't.

Eze has had to develop and so it's less of a surprise that he has spent time with us. His ability to make and use space, especially with his first touch is fantastic.

He wouldn't have done much more than he did last season if the team had been built around him, IMO.

Eze can go very far and I certainly hope he does but Adel was more talented.

In terms of enjoyment to watch Adel wins. In terms of team work and overall contribution Eze was close. If we had him for another season I think he could have developed into a player on par with Adel. Two factors massively in Eze's favour are firstly age (Eze has left at 22, Taarabt was 26 when he permanently left us.) Eze also seems to have a better attitude, one which will help him as he moves on, not hinder him.

Eze, Adel, Stanley all brilliant to watch. I couldnt say one was better than the other. Rodney was possibly up there too, but I didnt see enough of him to judge.

Taarabt.

37 games as a defensive midfielder for Benfica 2019/20, they finished second and are in the Champion's League this season. Adel is back playing for his country too.

Stan is my favourite R, but Adel is I think the most outrageously talented individual who I have seen in the hoops. Eze might be great one day but he’s nowhere near these two yet. I didn’t see Marsh play for the Rs.

Adel in our championship winning team was as good as it gets, but was surrounded by good pros who tolerated him when he sulked.
Eze grew into a very good player who with luck will grow into a top player.
Neither of these gets anywhere near Stan who took over from a very talented Rodney Marsh.
Stan is still the king of Loftus Road.

The two have played in different seasons and different situations.
Adel played in a team that won the league; Ebes played in a team that finished 14th (?)
A close call. If the seasons were reversed would Ebes have been better or Adel worse in the respective seasons?

Taraabt had totally outrageous skills that shone brightly for one glorious season, but I think Eze will manage to transfer his skillset to the Premier League as he has the work ethic to go alongside his talent. Adel is now showing a bit of maturity and back to pulling the strings at Benfica, but he must look back and think he's ****ed up a good chunk of his career by being a wastrel.

In order for us....

Marsh
Bowles
Taarabt
Eze
Stainrod
Wegerle
Byrne

Might have missed one or two.

Eze could wind up better than all of them, though.
