Tele - BT

Hope to see at least 2 of Jones , Williams , Tsimikas , Brewster , Elliott get some time tomorrow though wouldn't be surprised if we start with pretty much the team Klopp expects to start against Leeds

Looking forward to this as we've not been in it for so long. Fitness for the first league game is important so I'd expect the starting team for Leeds to start this game and play an hour.

well thats us ****ed <laugh>
You have to look back and remember Trent getting done all the time when he first started, he had obvious quality but some attackers had the better of him and the CB's had their work cut out. Only way to learn is to play. Williams is a good player but is young and there will be mistakes.

For those cheap people who still like quality :bandit:

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has ruled out signing Barcelona star Lionel Messi. The Argentina international is keen to leave the Nou Camp behind after nearly two decades at the club. But, speaking ahead of his side's Community Shield clash with Arsenal, Klopp has ruled out a move for the 33-year-old.

And there's me getting Messi on the back of my shirt. This was more nailed on than Werner, really disappointed tbh

Messi wouldn't come near Anfield unless robbo dragged him by his neck (again) and said sorry for destroying Barca as a club that night. :bandit:

Mad how that's the 1st story on the BBC though<laugh> proper slow news day.

It's the Community Shield. The FA were banned from calling it the Charity Shield because it's about lining their own pockets not helping others.
