Not surprised with Le Tiss, club legend, great footballer, seemingly nice guy. But he didn’t half make himself look like a penis during Covid and I’m sure Sky can see a PR time bomb in waiting with him.

Surprised about Charlie Nicholas and Phil Thompson, but they do need some fresh faces to mix things up a little.

They obviously decided they needed to retain the village idiot figure though.
Looking to save money...may get some people in on the cheap or they may be changing the whole format. It’s also possible that they want more diversity.

Shame about Le Tiss, but I do feel that him going is at least 80% his recent views.

As for the show - it does need a shake up as it really was like an old boys club. We're in 2020 now and need a bit of diversity on the screens. Not for diversity sake, but because people welcome it.

My guess is Merson, Sue Smith, Clinton Morrison and probably a weekly guest.

Brighton are holding a test event Saturday and are allowing 2,500 fans in for their friendly with Chelsea.

Ahh so McGuire did not attempt to bribe Greek police officers.

He didn't believe they were police officers and instead thought he was being kidnapped.

Feel for the bloke if that was the case.

Sounds more like that has come out of the Dominic Cummings book of excuses though.
I have to say I believed him when I heard more details. The police officers were not in uniform and McGuire and his party had been in some altercation with dodgy characters just previously. I can see how you would fight back if your vehicle was stopped under those circumstances.....especially as he thought his sister had been targeted.

Leeds spent 16 years out of the top flight as a result of overspending, and now, upon their return, they smash their transfer record by spending £26m on Rodrigo.

I'm worried they might be 'doing a Leeds'.

There owner is literally loaded, Also the money from TV is huge.., They;ll be fine. I'm sure shirt sales will cover Rodrigo too.

Having been outside the top flight all that time, any signing for the Premier League was likely to beat their record, to be fair.

Leeds also had big attendances in the Championship and a fairly modest wage bill. I think they spent less than a lot of other teams in the division last year. They will be fine. What’s more concerning for them is how they inevitably replace Bielsa. He’s redesigned the club in his image but probably won’t be there too much longer because he’s a madman. Maybe Pochettino will still be available.
