Considering there's been a lot of chatter on this thread about the value of players, it's interesting that Chilwell has gone to Chelsea for £45m and Spurs are picking up Doherty for £12m. To my mind Doherty is the better player, but age isn't on his side (28 instead of 23) and Chilwell being English probably adds ££. Still huge difference in price for players who are of similar quality.

PS - Both had quite long left on their contracts I think.

On Eze, click bait press have WBA trying to gazump Palace - claim £18.2 M+ 3M varariables + a big sell on fee. Over 20M. Fulham still interested.

Still sad he's going, but sort of proud we have a player that other clubs seem to be seriously fighting over. If he does go for over £20 million that'd be very good business.

The asking price as far as I recall was £20m.
I'm reading £16m here 12

It is good business as he cost us nothing, but will be great business if the fee is used on some quality players..time will tell.

Why did BOS turn down Champion league football, with a better salary???
No idea!!?

Have we had any real bids for BOS or Manning.

If not ...please sign...but with a get out clause...and play for us.

You never know, we might be PL in a years time

Love to see him have another year at LF as still a very rough diamond this season, lost interest in a lot of games, and majority of goals were penalties(although quality technique to watch!). Will be up there with the best in a few years so guess an average Premier League team is right for him at this time before moving upwards

The majority of his goals oozed class. I think he scored 4 penalties out of 14 goals.

Not for new quality players according to MW on the Official today, on about the Oxford game. but back to the Owners to compensate for such as the 1M a month they have been putting in. Any signings will not be high cost, or so I understood him.
