I see some click bait sites are saying Eze will be on 50k a week! No one knows his wages or how much the transfer fee is except the clubs involved & the player, most journalists are guessing & everyone seems different
WBA are saying it is not over as they have bid 17 million in cash.. Perhaps Eze don't want to go to the Baggies
Quite. And I bet it's not as simple as "£50k a week" too - I'm sure there are all sorts of different bonuses / payments based on performance, appearances, team performance etc etc
Will be sorry to see Eze go as he's been a breathe of fresh air, a lovely player to watch and just perfect for the no 10 shirt..... I have my doubts about going to palace as I believe he could do better, maybe even going to Germany for a few years, but if that is preferred choice then so be it....just hope they don't ruin him..... Would have been brilliant to see him get a full England cap as an R's player.....but not to be..... Well done to everyone at the club for getting close to 20m for a player we picked up for nowt......hopefully he'll be the first of many..... Guessing that Chair will be the heir apparent for the no 10 shirt.....this I feel is his breakout season.... Up the R's...
Sky reporting that EZE is an initial £16 million rising to £20 million with a 20% sell on clause not a bad bit of inevitable business if true.
We can only but hope he fails it for too much nose hair affecting his breathing or something as minor.
He wants to stay in London - always has. WBA, Leeds, Newcastle, Villa .... never stood a chance whilst Palace, Foolham and Hammers were interested. Good luck to him. Uncle Woy will continue to get the best from him and we should be on for a nice little earner in a few years if the 20% clause is true.
Of course it will be sad to see Eze go, but it was inevitable. This deal, if true, looks to be very good in the current situation and well done to everybody for staying firm and strong. It seems that we are really learning and progressing. I will follow Eze’s development with pleasure and hope that we will be clever enough to make a smooth succession of his replacement, and perhaps the “team” may come out even stronger and better?
QPR set to move for Oxford defender Dickie - West London Sport Good, we can always use a decent defender. Hope they don't cock it up!
Asked an Oxford United supporter about Dickie (one who has named their new cat Mackie !!!! No seriously) "Moody sod, always moaning, always shouting at his team mates for doing the wrong thing. Can be really good, but also goes missing" Sounds as though he will fit in perfectly
Yes, anyone who plasters their body with heavy ink & colours their hair as he does is certainly going to have some attitude. Just hope it transpires into goals.
