100% agree, but sadly this is the way it is now. As soon as any player shows a lot of potential they are snapped up by a bigger club. I'm just glad to see we will at least receive a decent fee this time.

I seem to recall Brentfords philosophy is this, and if their manager hadn't bottled play off final would now be a Premier League club. Its about having players to step up, like in Brentfords case, sell forward for big money, move Watkins to No.9 role, and they will continue to do this as an model. Chair and or Amos may turn out to be on a similar level to Eze but need that opportunity to play in that position, so I think what I am is saying Ellers dont be negative until u see the results

Who is on the rota to check in on Oslo?

If you get there before he finds out the news I'd suggest cutting off his internet and pretending it was just a social call.

I have seen this for years tbh. We have sold Smithies/furlong/Freeman would we say the replacements have stepped up. Take the keeper... can anyone say that area is better? If/when Eze/BOS goes we will be weaker. Sadly I heard this argument when a young Washington took over Austin’s position.

Australia-born striker Lyndon Dykes can bring "talent and enthusiasm" to the Scotland squad after earning his first call-up, says manager Steve Clarke.

Dykes, 24, was born on the Gold Coast to parents from Dumfries, and recently joined Queens Park Rangers after 18 months at Livingston.

The Keeper is a dodgy area, However Dieng may well prove to be better than Smithies. Personally BOS is already better than Freeman and has the potential to be amazing, I dont recall Washington coming through the ranks to replace Austin, I thought we just bought him as we needed a striker and decided to hoof it up to him for a whole season with no one within 40yds, but I might be wrong.

Good luck to the lad. Was just a matter of time. Need to get the central defender situation sorted now - sooner rather than later so he/they can bed in.

Chair is in place to step up for Eze.
Only time will tell if he is good enough.

But I will tell you something for certain if we retained Eze, ...chair would never flourish.

Eze and BOS wouldn't have flourished if Freeman had been here this year.

Smithies..he didn't start well at Cardiff....and we had young keepers coming up behind. I do hope we keep Dieng.

With that 15 million in cash we can get ourselves a CF (dykes) and. CD...and pay wages

Uber...I am afraid it is a natural fit.

They sell Zaha, and get a like for like in Eze.
    It was always obvious.

Spurs don't play like that. Spam have already 2 or 3 forwards it is defence they need.
He is not ready for Arsenal or Chelsea

The other clubs in for him, I do not think he was interested in (Leeds and West Brom)
