The first match involving Football league clubs to be played on a Sunday. I think there was no admission fee because it was against the law to charge on a Sunday? What was unique about the 3rd Round FA Cup tie between Cambridge Utd and Oldham in 1974, and how much was admission to the game?

Sounds a bit South American to me.The national sport of which country involves drinking beer and throwing metal discs at explosives - and what is the sport called?
Certainly the correct continent - and we have had & currently have players from the country in question.Sounds a bit South American to me.
I think the country is Colombia but I can't remember what the sport is called.Certainly the correct continent - and we have had & currently have players from the country in question.

Cheers BB. Sticking to the theme of sport. What is the longest, continuously running, sanctioned sporting event in the World ? It was first held in 1362 and has continued at the same venue, and without any rule changes, ever since. Extra point for the venue. That's it...

Nope, not archery Frenchie. There is an arrow in Leeds that goes back a long time, so could it be archery?
It does have a martial content to it BB - certainly related to one of the examples you quoted.Given the year it probably has something to do with war or fighting - fencing? Or maybe boxing or wrestling?
Well fencing started in your neck of the woods in the 15th century and boxing was a sport indulged in by Egyptians around five thousand years ago - mind you, the Ancient Greeks enjoyed wrestling. So I'm stumped...It does have a martial content to it BB - certainly related to one of the examples you quoted.
Ok. a few clues. The tournament lasts for three days and a single contest is capped at 40 minutes (an extra 15 minutes are possible if the result is inconclusive). The winner of the whole tournament is the national champion. The sport is mostly associated with one country - but there are occasional tournaments outside it, mostly involving people of this ethnic origin. If a younger person beats an older person then they kiss the latter's hand as a sign of respect.Well fencing started in your neck of the woods in the 15th century and boxing was a sport indulged in by Egyptians around five thousand years ago - mind you, the Ancient Greeks enjoyed wrestling.
