Glad the club stuck firm on their valuation of Hugill. Norwich have paid more than we think he's worth and good luck to him. If they go up next year they will be looking to loan him out again in 10 months' time.

Norwich a supposedly skilful side, can't see him fitting in too well...

I wonder if Warbs actually wanted Hugill. Looks more likely now that Eze won’t be heading in that direction.

Bloke was on over £30k+ a week and commanded a £5m fee at 28. A very decent season with us but not worth breaking the bank for.

And a reason we won’t be getting the guy from Foolham, who is apparently on £35k a week and just got promoted to the EPL.

I don't see why it should affect any potential Eze deal. They've got more money for Hugill than they would have got out of us as part-exchange..

I liked Hugill but on 30k a week on what a 3 year deal us going to cost Norwich close to 10m over that period.....way out of our price range.....good luck to him except against us....

Wham now have an additional 5m to put towards buying Eze...... Actually if moyes was smart enough he could have a front 4 of

    Antonio
    Daringa, Eze, Bowen

Daringa is the lad that was on loan to baggies last season....

That would give them an exciting attacking option.....is moyes smart enough? I have my doubts....

That would be a nice front four. Antonio was looking unstoppable after the restart!

Apparently Eze prefers a move to Palace over Fulham or West Ham. They'll need to considerably up their offer...

Now I am not saying this to be nasty in any way because I will always wish a player good luck... however I still think Eze needs another season with us in the Championship because in some games he made mistakes which he got away with but in the Premiership would have got punished for.

Should only keep him if we are making a serious bid for promotion, otherwise cash in whilst his star is high...

Palace have had a second bid rejected according to WLS, sounds like we are holding firm on that 20m valuation.

That comes back to something TF said a while back in that gone are the days of old high priced players. We will get promotion through our young talent... the only problem is whenever we get any young talent they are sold.

Maybe with more time on the ball. As I said I wish him well but once again we will never get anywhere selling our best talent.
