Certainly I hope both come good, but I've given up expecting it. I agree that Quintilla has the incentive of playing in the PL if all goes well and let's hope that makes a difference. On the other hand, let's hope Skipp didn't talk to Roberts about last year.
I think we are looking at Brewster from Liverpool another U21 England player

Skipp is official:

Interesting that he's pictured wearing 20 on his training kit. That was Drmic's number last season. Although Roberts has vacated 7, and Leitner's 10 shirt could be up for grabs if Drmic wanted those.

Lucas Rupp has taken the number 7 shirt DH

If we can get him in that would be a game changer, he has a very bright future, he scored a lot fo goals for Swansea in only half a season there I believe. I'd feel sorry for Idah though as i think it will reduce his chances of game time unless he goes out on loan.

Skipp looks like a direct replacement for Trybull with more legs.

11 in 22 for Swansea firing them into play off contention.

He was the stand out player when England U17s won the World Cup getting the golden boot with 8 goals .
I was very impressed with him

It was certainly dismal, Robbie, and there were a lot of factors involved. The first was SW choosing the wrong players on loan (Amadou and Roberts) for our situation. The nature of loans creates a split in loyalty between loan club and parent club, where the player's future lies. Then there's the pressure the parent club and/or player puts on getting enough game time, compromising DF's ability to choose the best line-up for that game and also creating tensions within the squad. We'll never know all of the factors behind Amadou and Roberts and to a lesser degree Fährmann, but clearly there was dissension leading to them leaving, which in turn impacted on squad solidarity. All of this is what concerns me about these new loans.
Rick, SW doesn't "choose" any players, so can't be blamed for choosing "wrong" ones. DF is the person who decides what we need and which of the affordable and available loan options to take.
But anyway, I don't see any reason to connect those "failed" loans to performances after the re-start. We were all waiting with bated breath to see what three months of review and analysis had produced by way of a survival strategy. In the event it was difficult to discern any strategy at all. Whatever it was, the players didn't appear to have much belief in it.

Let's agree to disagree and leave it at that, Robbie.

Heise loaned out to Karlsruhe for the season. Surprised that's not permanent.

That answers my question about Heise being the only LB if Lewis goes and McCallum is loaned out. Seems that the Spanish lad is on his way to CR.

Quintilla now official.

Interesting how Farke says we lacked competition in the full back areas last season, which has now been remedied. So a suggestion that the aim is Lewis+Quintilla at LB, or at least if Lewis leaves, we might be back in the market for a LB? Pinkun phrase it as McCallum will leave on loan if Lewis stays, so perhaps not sure. https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/city-sign-spanish-left-back-1-6797871

The competition is quite healthy at the moment and Byram's ability to play on either flank brings another dimension, even if Lewis does leave. They seem to have researched Xavi pretty thoroughly. To confirm his potential incentive to play well, Xavi added:

“I come here to play as many minutes as possible. We want to play good football for the fans to see. I would love to play in the Premier League, so I will do everything possible to get Norwich into the top league.”

Let's hope it works.

With an option to buy at £2.7m it seems to be a good deal, considering Transfermarkt list his base price as £3.6m.
