Pool 1 PL title in 30 years
Silva 4 PL titles in 10 years

Anfield legend Gerrard, who describes Klopp as 'the best manager in the world', thinks the club should waste no time in immortalising him at Anfield alongside the likes of Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley and Sir Kenny Dalglish.

Steven Gerrard (left) believes Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp deserves a statue outside Anfield

'Knowing Jurgen, he won't want to be put in that bracket,' Gerrard told The Athletic. 'I know what he's like, he's humble and respectful.

'When you look at the scale of the job he's done, for sure he deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as those iconic managers.

'What you need to take into consideration is that when Jurgen took over Liverpool they weren't close to being the best team in the country, they weren't even in the top four.

'To come to Liverpool when he did, get to the amount of finals that he has, deliver the sixth European Cup and then deliver the first league title after 30 years…

'For me, someone like Jurgen should be rewarded now. It seems like in football we often wait until people get older before their achievements are fully recognised.

'But I know the owners of Liverpool won't let that happen. When Jurgen delivers the league they should already be starting work on a statue of him.'
100% Kanes getting one

When he ends his career having won absolutely **** all<laugh>

Oh I see, so Is he the 1st city player to reach 400+ games?

Tbh I'm not against the statue, he is a city legend tbf. But that in itself is funny for many reasons.

No respect shown to past legends before the money came in.

A statue of phat checkbook would be more appropriate tbh

Oh thanks mate, glad we have your approval <laugh>

Ye, you disingenuous ****, I'm sure you're heart is bleeding for the legends of old, send a letter to the club

Sucky mate, if you want dick pics just ask, following me around is embarrassing :emoticon-0138-think

I was looking to tap into your vast knowledge of man city's history mate, that's why I asked if he was the only player to reach 400+ games.

Well is he? If not whys he getting one and not the others?

Because city didn't exist before 2007 as far as your owners are concerned by all accounts <laugh>

Fckin hell that is cringe. No surprise though it's Liverpool. The sycophantic c0ck sucking is to be expected.

Sucky having a pop at City, imagine them putting up statues all round Etihad for Mancini, Pellegrini and Pep just because they each won a league title. Fcking mong <doh>

How does David Silva get a statue and Joe Mercer who won their only European trophy just get a poster in a car park? <laugh>

10 year, 400+ games, 14 trophies

Knowledge of football is so shocking mate even your wumming is second grade

So Kompany captaining you to your first league in 44 years, 11 years of service, 7 years as captain, and 12 trophies is insufficient

But Silva's 14 trophies gets him a statue before he's even emptied his locker

Nice to know where the line is at least

No, he was confused as to why Silva would be considered a legend. Explained that to him.

But you're a clueless troll as we have covered previously on the Newcastle board.

Think the clue is 14 > 12 but i suppose as a pool fan you wouldn't know any players who had that many trophies
