a win against the sheep o9n sat and we are in the top 6

im sure we will be in the top 2 at the end of the season----we have just played most of the top 6 unbeaten so there must be some matches to come where our territorial dominance will lead to a big win

The point you make may well be valid, but comparing Sven to Sousa is like comparing David Cameron to Hitler!

I don't think we should be comparing this season to our season last year because I don't think any of us would be happy with 10th this year. We should be comparing ourselves to someone like a Norwich. If we were to do that, then we're three points behind at this stage so we've had a decent start and I think this team is improving and has cut out (it seems) the defensive errors that littered it. Now, we just need that cutting edge that we maybe haven't had recently. But its easier to build a winning team from a solid base and finally that's what we have. To coin an old phrase; attackers win you matches, defences win you trophies.

The team had just been to Cardiff twice and then up to Boro clocking up 602 miles in the space of a week so not surprising if they were a bit tired really!!

They didn't have to walk arro <yikes> they just sat on a luxurious coach (not the type the club sent us to Madrid on :steam: ) and rested for every mile

Glorious memories of Madrid. The banter of 'The wheels on the bus ...' and 'We're going France - youre not'. And the postcards placed on the seats for sending to Mark McGee. Happy days
