Hoddle is a god

I've just bought a gaming laptop, pretty good spec, and I'm wondering which games to get.

Years ago, before my desktop bit the dust, I used to play a lot of Skyrim and GTA.

I've been out of the loop for a while, but both my lads are into gaming.

I'm definitely going to get GTA5, Battlefield 5 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare.

I also want a good footy game, and some type of open world adventure game (has there been an update on Skyrim?).

I also quite like the look of Day Z.

Anything you guys can recommend?

Skyrims been remastered, a while ago now, but you can add mods which can turn it from great to exceptional.

Apex legends is the popular shooter at the moment. Cod is for ****s and @Tel

If you like story heavy rpgs I always recommend the Dragon Age series. Especially Dragon Age Inquisition which you can buy on Origin.

Its very fun and the thing I like most, its worth the cash. You get tons of hours out of it.

Fallout 4

Far Cry 5

Decent open world games with plenty of hours in them.

I’ve just finished a game called Unchartered 4 - a Thief’s End, that was decent but not sure if it’s a PS4 exclusive.

Thanks, lads. Some good suggestions to get me started.

I was heavily into gaming, many moons ago. I used to love WW2 shooters, and had practically all of them. The graphics have come a long way, but I've had to spend a fortune on the computer to be able to play the games at a decent frame rate on high settings.

I've bought the laptop mainly for video editing, but I may as well take advantage of the game play ability, too.
