Just watched the greatest frame in 40 years, better than the 85 final. Amazing the misses and fouls and THAT fluke. The tournament has been a bit boring up to now. I thought there was a limit to misses in a frame. Snooker should be on in May-June when no footie, and they should bring it's a knockout back ! and Jeus sans frontiers and them penguins.

was unreal some of the things that happened in that last frame

I've seen more snooker in the last week than the last 10 years put together. It's not been the best standard but some frames have been genuinely exciting. That last frame a prime example.

The one with Wilson and the ginger fella? I had to bugger off halfway through it but it looked like the perfect setup for drama.

Said to my wife before the interview Selby will be pissed off and he certainly was. I didn't see any of the match apart from the last frame but it sounded pretty bitter.

Dont think it had any needle (I may be wrong). He's just pissed off because he threw the match away.

Nope, take it all back. Just seen a Selby interview and he seems very bitter.

You were right though it was just because he'd been beaten. I think Selby doesn't like Ronnie because Selby is a plodder with not much imagination so if he sees someone not conforming to his guidelines he thinks it's wrong.

Well done Ronnie. Finally moved ahead of Hendry in titles so as far as I'm concerned it's official, not that it wasn't obvious anyway, best snooker player who ever picked up a stick.

Can't understand how anyone could argue with that. And he complains about how badly he's playing!! I get happy when I make a 20 break!

The Jester from Leicester? Surely not!

Hendry is coming out of retirement after 8 years, seems he can't stand it that Ronnie now has the most ranking titles. I could always see his knuckles turning white whenever he had to praise Ronnie but I didn't expect that.

A major final between the two of them would be gold.
