Must admit not seen anything of Sarr really. Played well against us in that defeat but scored 5 goals last year? For a wide forward not a great return albeit for a relegated side.

Transfermarkt is a very good site. I have found in the past though that the valuations on players, while realistic, are very often miles away from what they are actually sold for. Not surprising.
Thanks. I have no idea whether their estimates are accurate or not. Having no input into the situation, I don't really take any notice of transfer rumours and valuations. They're mostly wild speculation.
I find it easier to just wait and see who comes and who goes, and tbh I have no more than an idle curiosity about the price.

Saw your post, its urban myth largely re. his injury record
Think it’s irrelevant tbh - fairly certain he will be off to City
No idea if good or bad but I can only repeat what many have said.

This Grouphave not given me much reason to fret about transfers
They deserve at least for me to show some faith while they attempt to defend the crown that took us so long to win
So I am easy :)

Tsimikas. Can't see how you can get that sibilance in the middle from the letters "ik".
I'd have thought it's pronounced more or less as it looks - you say the Ts in the way you would if it were elsewhere in a word (its).
However, what do I know? Ask our resident Greek @Zorba
Yes correct, TS as in... it's....but 'Sim ee kass' is close enough.

Villa appear to be ready to make a move for Origi, should Liverpool make him available.
That's according to the Daily Mirror, who report that Dean Smith is looking to bolster his attacking options after guiding the club to safety on the final day of the season.
Brentford's Ollie Watkins and former Liverpool target Milot Rashica have both also been earmarked as potential options.
Liverpool are said to value Origi at around £25million and the player has already dropped a hint that he could be off last summer.

I know it's all rumours and honestly I'd rather keep Origi than go for a replacement who will only get the same amount of playing time as him anyway but if we do sell him I'd prefer it to be somewhere abroad.

If Shaqiri goes to Fenerbahce as rumoured, get your bets on them winning the CL.

Sell Origi and invest in someone like Sarr. Origi just isn't suited to our style and we can't accommodate him.

I think if he went somewhere that plays him as an outright number 9, he will score a good number of goals.

If Origi goes, who plays CF when Bobby isn't there? Not keen on Mane or Salah up top and Minamino just isn't up to scratch yet

What about giving Brewster a chance. He's had a great loan spell. £40m for a bench player doesn't make sense. The only exception to my thinking on this would be if we got Havertz or similar proven quality.

see minamino would be much better suited to firmino a role than played out wide. He likes to drop in deep and get involved rather than have any kind of pace to run in behind. Wouldn’t mind him getting more chances in that role and playing training with firmino can only help develop that

Does Origi even play centrally for us? He normally comes in and plays on the wing lol.

Minamino is the most natural Bobby replacement and I think he is getting sharper. Having said that, if we bring in a wide man, then either Mane or Salah can play centrally as well. Salah actually his best goal scoring numbers when being in that position.
