I dont think wini hasn't got a contract, I just think its not the contract he wants. Its funny but we moan like **** when a player wants silly money, but forget in circumstances like this when a player maybe approaching the end years and the club starts to lessen the terms.

I expect after winning the champions league and the prem he expected a bumper new deal, like a few of the other lads got, unfortunately for him I dont think its coming.

The sticking point on Wijnaldum's contract isn't on renewal but on how long the extension should be. He's looking at 3 years, the club 2 years ...... allegedly.

Thiago Alcantara ‘keen’ to join Liverpool and play for Jurgen Klopp – but Man City are ‘offering more’ as Pep Guardiola seeks a reunion
With the defending Premier League champions apparently not keen to strengthen in midfield, it could allow City to swoop in and claim Thiago.
 
So....I know it’s all speculation but what else do we have to work with?

Lovren out > ??? In
Shaq out > Sarr in
Gini signs OR Thiago in
Gaping squad hole > Greek fella in
Lallana and Clyne released > Jones and Williams promoted

this looks like the sum total of our dealings this summer. Perhaps some other fringe/loaned players Will leave to finance the above and one or two kids drafted in...but I don’t see much more happening and even this is more than I initially expected.

I think we can have Gini and Thiago, they may not necessary play together. So many competitions this season, we need to win a cup along with the league.

Yep, horses for courses....Thiago would make our midfield complete so we can go with a number of options. I just get concerned when I see his injury record....especially in a Klopp system that demands a lot of every player....we’ve seen it break a few....

LFC ‘have held talks’ with superb centre-back; selling club ‘need money’
Liverpool are still considering a deal for Schalke defender Ozan Kabak, according to Bild honcho Christian Falk.

Falk was speaking on a podcast with our friends at @LFCTransferRoom and explained how Liverpool have already been in discussions with the Germans regarding the Turkish centre-back.

Tsimikas. Can't see how you can get that sibilance in the middle from the letters "ik".
I'd have thought it's pronounced more or less as it looks - you say the Ts in the way you would if it were elsewhere in a word (its).
However, what do I know? Ask our resident Greek @Zorba

Not according to David Maddock (Mirror) who was on Redmen tv a day or two back..........should be with a CH.
He also said we had been following Kostas since at least 2017, which I had heard elsewhere as well.
Also had some info on the Lewis non-transfer.........we go in with the £10m and its turned down. We then go back with £12m plus add ons
which takes it above £15m but Norwich still not interested. So we go elsewhere...
And we have virtually doubled our money on Shaq <laugh>..........Michael Edwards take a bow son.
Will remember the Shaq for the goals v MU mostly
