It says that metal detecting was prohibited between March and May, surely not in your garden though?

No, good point. Still haven't used my detector in my current garden, keep meaning to. Did find some bits at her place in Norfolk, had to search it after finding a bit of Roman pottery when I was planting something.
Stopme said I had a good point, so that is good enough for me. I win.
How can a metal detector find pottery
