Sims played one good ball in a prem game and passed 10 ft to long to score a goal and everyones still ****ing over it .

Same as Reed, neat and tidy player , but not good enough for us, goodbye.

It's that simple.

Think that's a bit harsh actually, how much of him have you actually seen?

He has had more than one good game for us. I'd certainly much rather play him than mo elyonoussi, and we paid a lot for alien Lucy

Elyounoussi is a bad comparison as we desperately want rid of him too. I also think it is telling that Sims has never had a particularly successful loan spell - even in the MLS he hasn't done much!

Reed however was good for Norwich in the championship and has just played a crucial role in Fulham getting promoted. Out of the two I'd say Reed deserves a chance and is more likely to make it at Saints.

Based on what I saw of Reed in his limited games with us I would say that he looks like a strong candidate for being able to be a success in Ralph’s system. I haven’t watched Fulham much this year so don’t know if he is a different player now he has matured.

I’m not fussed either way tbh, if he stays and is part of the squad then great if he goes and we use the funds raised to sign someone else then great. £8m could turn out to be a decent chunk of change with the pandemic. Think players coming from foreign clubs are going to be much cheaper than we have seen in recent times and PL teams are still going to be the richest

Bit harsh on Sims - his first loan spell was towards the end of their season (only 8 games left or something), and then his second loan spell never really got started because of coronavirus.

Cheer up!

And for future reference, to really ram your point home rather than 'It's that simple.' here we use 'End of.'

End of.

Anyone know much about the Arsenal lad, Maitland-Niles? Only 22, can cover right wing, RB, Wing Back and CM apparently.
Seems that they will sell him this season and boy do we like a double barrelled name.

And some people wonder why we dislike Spurs so much. They can’t resist a pop at us even when they get their man...

Not sure on the accuracy of ‘media friends’ but otherwise it seemed a reasonable summary to me. Both clubs got they wanted at reasonable prices. No one had their pants pulled down. That’s how transfers should be done IMO.
