I've had nothing from Opperman, nigel Huddleston, Boris Johnson, Richard masters or the premier league
All this that is going on is just music to the tabloids ears given the football season is over.
We are literally giving them the ammunition to continue the nufc love or hate tennis match.
The fact is the pressure (does masters really give a flying ****) that is being applied with the petition and mp letters really makes no difference if in fact PIF have withdrawn because of covid and economic reasons.
Yes initially it dragged on, PIF wanted it. But as time went on, as the global epidemic got worse they maybe decided to pull the plug. Dodged a bullet so to speak (no pun intended).

I was encouraged by stavleys comments.. I know what you mean.. This is providing giggles for the already delighted haters, but there's a chance they've lit their victory cigars too soon.
Takeover to one side.. If we expose the premier league at all it's a victory for football fans even if they don't realise it yet.

Im also concerned that their may be something going on behind the scenes and all this “publicity” potentially scuppers things.
The publicity is split between:
- Sensible, I.e the petition, mp letters etc and;
- The twitter abuse, nasty pictures, idiots going down to London to protest etc.

I dunno like I think they just got fed up waiting, pulled out amid the reports of a second covid wave and that stavely wantec some revenge, but I sincerely hope not... That would be out of order imo.

In any case I still maintain that PIF have on the face of it walked away.
If all this means the PL hold up their hands and say ok we proper ****ed up then great. But PIF said they walked because of commercial reasons! Would they then come back?
