Honestly not bothered if he goes. I really don’t think he’s set the world on fire playing for us. The one time I saw him I thought he was slow to the ball and was knocked off it far too easily.

Sadly don't think he's ahead of Wyke and Grigg under Parky as he would have got more game time last season.

He is a very raw talent and probably should have pushed on more than he has, good luck to him but I think he believes he is better than he actually is.

He had permission to train with a team in Sweden didn’t know he’d actually left. Not bothered like as he seemed bang average and he had a ****e attitude.

Talented lad but almost all footballers are and there's a lot more to it than that. I never felt I saw him trying his heart out or having a good attitude on the few occasions he did get a chance.

Absolutely that! I've seen one or 2 touches which looked nice and the rest of the time complete headless chicken!

    Remind me of Thomas Hauser!!

Mmmm from what I recall I dont remember Hauser not giving 100%. You get a fair bit of leeway with the fans if you put the effort. Not certain but I think I recall him scoring a 90th minute equaliser at Roker. Swindon 2-2?

Ah, Thomas Hauser. The first non-British born player to represent Sunderland at Wembley. He scored our last goal in the 80’s and the first Sunderland goal in the 90’s. He was also the first German to score in the top division of English football.

Sounds like a cracking player <whistle>

Tbf he was always behind the G-force, a bit like Dichio behind Quinn and Phillips. He done alright at times but wasn’t very good in all honesty.

Always remember a cup game away to Exeter we went 2 down before we started playing and pulled it back to 2-2 when Tommy Hauser broke through to have a shot blocked. Someone standing nearby came up with the line just think what tomorrow's headline would have been, Exeter sunk by german sub.

<laugh> I just remember him having legs longer than a giraffe's neck but never looking like he knew what he was going to do with the ball! And never looking like he had the ball under control! But remember him doing the "I have no idea what I'm doing" at roker in front of the clock stand and leaving 3 defenders converging on him completely dumbfounded!!

Not sticking up for the lad but with game time can anybody honestly say he would have been worse than Wyke n Grigg?

Grigg I can’t but Wyke had loads more heart than I saw from Benji. I’m much more disappointed about Mumba as he looked a decent player
