It was literally 30 seconds right at the very end. Maybe because they don't have much information on it? But considering the death toll and injured I would've thought it would be a main story.
It was headline on news at ten, not sure what you were watching?
First story.
several hours later then?Well yeah, they did sum up at the end.
After dedicating the first five or so minutes headline news to it at the start!
Latest on Beirut explosion.
Just heard lebanese prime minister has said 2500 tonnes of Ammonium Nitrate had been stored at a depot for 6 years without safety measures.

There must be a hell of a lot more deaths than the original estimates .There was an explosives expert on SKY News, out in Beirut, said he's never seen anything like it in his life. Well no, I don't suppose anyone has seen 2,700 tonnes of that stuff ignited before.
There must be a hell of a lot more deaths than the original estimates .
Looked like a nuclear explosion
Not on their website earlier. It was on SKY News for several hours non stop mate. For some reason they moved away from the story the later it got into the evening.
Like I said I had it on in the background. I didn't notice. Appreciate I missed it. Lets not labour the point.
So what or who, were up to?You can source a lot of footage from youtube, the news channels can't obviously show the more gruesome aspects. The shock waves were felt for miles after the 2nd explosion. Basically anything that was glass, was no more, and rubble fell from buildings on to the streets below, total carnage. At least 50 dead and 2,700 I think it was injured, there will be way more than that. As it was a port area, I've no idea if any ships were hit, they claimed the shockwaves were felt in Cyprus, but considering the distance, I question if that is plausable.
I'm not.
You said it wasn't on news at ten, I said it was.
That's it, sorry to have to correct you.
I must admit it was weird not having the BBC news telling me I was going to imminently die of coronavirus for the 200th odd day but there you go.

Not on their website earlier.
But does it really matter? they have nothing to offer the world..No gas, no oil etc.
So what or who, were up to?
I don't know mate, maybe someone fancied a smoke, they didn't have a smoking shelter, so they lit up inside.
