Game over.

Joe Bryan, cruising forward, coolly slots beyond David Raya after a one-two with Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Brilliant energy from the full-back, who gets his second and sends Fulham to the Premier League.

All over bar the shouting.

'I'm not the hero'
FT: Brentford 1-2 Fulham - Fulham promoted to Premier League

"I'm not the hero, every single one of them, fans and people around us who has been with us all season is.

"We've been written off five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10 times, I think I read somewhere we were supposed to be scared of them.

"We took it to them, we scored twice, they made it hard for us but they're a good team and they've been playing really well.

"I can't believe we made it straight back up."

On the free-kick goal:

"Scott told me to whip it near post, that was for my dad, he used to give me the eyes when he made me go in goal."

What a modest guy Joe is, good on him

Got to pat Scott Parker on the back, a young manager who completes a successful mission, the Premier.
A 39 year old coach promoted from within when the first team manager was sacked.
Dean Holden is 40

I enjoyed his response to their victory because you could see how much it meant to him. Lovely player that we lost and my full congratulation go out to him and his team mates. :1980_boogie_down:

What's that got to do with Scott Parker and Joe Bryan, how old Holden is?

Just find it a bit ironic congratulating a manager who was appointed in the same way Holden would be, which many people, including yourself, would consider a balls up by the City board

Not worth an answer, Fulhams choice of personel not connected with Bristol City FC board.

I did like it that the commentator mentioned us a few times in his summary of Joe.

One point on anyone who criticises the board LJ or the grounds men. Joe wanted to leave the club to pursue his dream of playing in the Prem like Bobby did. I suspect they would of preferred it to been with us.

Aside from the City connections at Fulham, I actually wanted Brentford to win promotion after some of the lovely football they've played this season, the huge number of goals they've scored, and it would have been nice to see a new name in the Premiership.
They're now more than likely to lose Benrama and Watkins to higher placed teams.
They had chances of automatic promotion in 3 of their last 5 games and managed to blow every one.
