LEEDS
Maybe you think it's impossible but we have almost the same players we had when we finished 13th in championship, playing bielsa style we won the championship , already Leeds utd have some premier class players , and a few additions in the right areas and I believe Leeds can match 4 of the top 6 in the premiership with exception to Liverpool and man city ,wins elsewhere at lesser teams could do it , don't forget Leicester city had a worse team than leeds when they were almost relegated from premier League and the following season went on to win it , also at the start of the coming season there will be no crowd so not as much pressure on Leeds as with a crowd also Leeds utd are an unknown force this season and can get off to a flying start , what's your thoughts and ideas to how and why Leeds can win the premiership 2020 - 2021 season if we do it will be an EL LOCO season

Still a huge gulf in class from the front 3 of Man City, Liverpool Man Utd. Can you see Bamford, Harrison and Costa scoring 70 goals? Thats whats required before you even look at a solid defence and creativity in the middle.

So no we cant because we dont have the finances to get the type of player we would need

We need to stay in it first and during the season start thinking seriously about a succession plan for Bielsa because either way I suspect next year will be his last at the club. He just doesn’t do longevity in club football.

Not even in my wildest fantasy, and I have some wild ones <yikes>, but we won’t go into that :emoticon-0111-blush, but as chesh said even with good transfers, best possible if I had to really push it would be sixth, I once again agree with chesh would be two to three seasons, with everything going right we might, just might, be able to challenge the top three. But how nice it it to have expectations instead of trepidation.
Good afternoon everyone

If we finish mid table I will be well contented season after is a different matter
Let’s not try to run before we can walk
The main thing after so many years in the doldrums, now we are up just concentrate on staying up

Me too, cement ourselves just above half way, give everyone a chance to see who actually is Premier League quality then see who we need to replace

If someone offered me a point above the relegation places I'd take it.

We need a few seasons of TV money to even think of approaching the top 6.

Yeah, we could do a Sheffield or a Wolves but equally we could do a Norwich. They played some good football whilst winning the Championship but got their arses handed to them in the Premier league.

It's now a money game. Our owner isn't exactly minted like some other rival clubs so we need the TV money, consolidate, strengthen again and try and improve year on year whilst doing the stadium up and increasing capacity. We have to play the long game with our current owner (who is great btw).

The other way is to be taken over by someone incredibly rich and do it the Chelsea/Man City way.

The problem with finishing that low and being in a dog fight at the bottom.... It would mean virtually the entire starting 11 are not good enough, we would see fans getting restless and destroying the players on SM and memories would be very short as many would call for Bielsa to be sacked

<laugh> Christ the drugs must be good in Leeds.

The PL is a different animal to when you were last here. You're just another non top 6 club now, if you think you're suddenly going to be challenging at the top end then you're sorely ****ing mistaken tbh.

I suppose if you start with low expectations you're never going to be disappointed hey?
