    If you soak the Wood first then put directly on the grill it'll steam and add moisture then smoke as it starts to dry out. Might work well on the type of grill you have.

    Nothing Wrong with PJ's idea though, looks good. If it was a charcoal or wood BBQ I'd never suggest soaking but on yours it may well work.

    for the foil pack you soak them too. Just stops loads of mess. Nice and simple.

    I like his one cos its tidy. I'm just glad I know I can get that traditional bbq flavour off it, now it's just a case of trying these things to gain maximum shizznit

    buy some hardwood chips from Amazon, oak etc they will give better flavour than that gloss covered doorframe you used.
