I just assumed that as we are ignoring lock-down and social distancing then presumably we are in the habit of ignoring all preventative measures and their certain effects on the raw numbers. If fewer people are dying in road traffic accidents then presumably we no longer need to worry about drunk-driving, speeding, seat-belts or any of the other measures that have come in. Cars just must not be as dangerous as we thought they were 50 years ago so lets slack all that off.
I reckon we should do the same with all health and safety, once the numbers go down it's evidence we didn't need it in the first place. You make a good point which is impossible to argue with. Now I'll catch you all later, I'm off to fireproof my house with asbestos.
I tried that with Head and Shoulders. Never again, it was a fcking snow storm in midsummer.
