    Funny old world ....................... I just spent about 20 minutes telling a German lady from the office all about the bouncing bomb. She was amazed when I told her how they used the lights mounted on the wingtips to ensure they had the correct altitude for bomb release <ok>

    Puts me in mind of two Irish lasses I met at Uni in Manchester - one of them always used to call the other one "Bombay" as a nickname. I asked whether she had recently been to India and she said "No, her fanny lips are like bomb bay doors". Completely true story.

    Afternoon Gentlemen (and Ladies). Just posted this on the Arc thread, but thought i'd post here too.

    I'm off home now as I'm invited to a barbecue early evening. Mind you, I might not go as I am concerned about the going. <doh> Sick of these trainers getting their excuses in before the race. The ground will be what it will be, it isn't going to be like the M1 for christ sake. It's on the soft side today after watering and they are expecting good, maybe slightly faster than good on Sunday. What the f*ck is there to be concerned about?????

    Swan I can assure you I am not Famous and I don't know who Apt is. I don't boom my winners so that should have been a dead give away!

    ROTO: Apologies, I should have known better. I don't boom either (not too difficult, don't get that many winners :emoticon-0101-sadsm ), always thought it a bit childish, but to each his own!

    (Now I remember, the guy's nickname was AptApproach. He was really good on the NH scene, and French racing too, and really knew a heck of a lot about jumpers who had progressed from P2P racing. Gave some tremendous winners, especially during the Winter months).
