Really im starting to forgive him for scoring that goal that made it 5-1 instead of 5-0

Actually no i cant i just cant damn him for preventing another clean sheet

Always liked Bent, top player who had to leave Sunderland because of the tiny status of their club. I'm sure he enjoyed living in Newcastle though<ok>

I wonder if, as England fans, the unwashed cheered when he scored, or did they, as is more likely, showed a total lack of class.

The lad's move to a bigger and better club seems to have worked out well for him.

Well done Darren.

If England lost did Bruce have a song lined up?

Yes I belive Brucie had that well know communards hit - Don't leave me this way. Ready to blare out of the Tannoy at the stadium in Coppenhagen after tying up the announcer and baricading himself in!!!!

Hurt ? no not really

the daft lad forgets that his was in the England squad several times, but always pulled out cos of injury while he was with us.

Bent (and Capello) talk as much sense as this guy...

I remember the river of tears that you lot cried when he was left out of the world cup squad in favour of Heskey.

Heskey was playing for a bigger club and so he got the nod. I'm not saying it's right but it's just the way life is. Darren realised this and decide to move to a bigger and better club. You can't blame the lad for being ambitious.
