Is Jordan the most successful player produced by Sunderland. I'm not suggesting that he's the most gifted or talented, but to lift four major football trophies in the space of 13 months, to be voted the football writers player of the year and to have captained England. I can't think of another player from Sunderland to match that. I'm just donning my tin hat now, before I get shot down!!
Hard to disagree with that, especially if you're talking about someone who actually played for the club as well being born in the area....If not then Bob Paisley deserves a mention in dispatches

I'd say he is definitely is our best, and has many more years left in the tank to be even more succesful. An all-round good guy, to boot
Top player, definitely, and the most successful product of our academy system. Well done Jordan, still think you'll play for a top club one of these days.
