Not a big fan of him tbh, one of those directors that people to on about but are his films really that good?

 

5.3/10 for me....and that's at a push.

Like most old movies? There's plenty old movies that are more than good. And I wouldn't call it old tbh.

The film is based on the book so it's not really about one scene.

 

Dr Strangelove his best then Space Odyssey, FMJ 3rd.

 

and many where the remakes are better.

 

Comms like Irish people when it comes to films. the chat always goes back to Ireland or in comms case... full metal jacket

I think 2001 is ****. But when he gets it right he's very good. I rate FMJ and Shining.

My mate loves that film lol. I think it's ****.

Goes to show Kubrick just divides opinion. Even the films we all rate are largely different.
