If somebody can present me with evidence for a conspiracy theory, then I'm all ears. Otherwise, it's just opinion.

For those who believe, no proof is necessary; for those who don’t want to believe, no amount of evidence will be sufficient.

Yup, there are actual conspiracies and actual cover ups. We know Govt's around the world act in shady ways. We have evidence of that. But that's the key issue here, evidence. If something can be corroborated as having actually happened, then it's fair game. Most of these actual conspiracies have been uncovered by robust journalism, whistle blowers or proper inquiries, not by conspiracy theorists.

To date, And I'm willing to be corrected, but I've seen no actual evidence provided by conspiracy theorists that Bill Gates is trying to cull the world population via untested vaccines, no evidence that Hillary Clinton is running a secret lesbian ***** dungeon in the basement of a pizza parlour, no evidence that 5G is microwaving our brains and spreading Covid and on it goes. In fact most of these theories have been roundly debunked with actual facts .... but then the conspiracist response to that is that it's all part of the cover up .....

If somebody can present me with evidence for a conspiracy theory, then I'm all ears. Otherwise, it's just opinion.

It's all about presenting evidence mate.

I'm open to accepting anything, as bizarre as it may appear, if somebody can present some evidence that it's true. The same that when evidence is presented that debunks conspiracies, then it also has to be taken on board.

The same rules need to apply across the board here.

Just saw on SKY News about misinformation spread on the internet, and what to do about it, an example given...

was that 5G spreads the Coronavirus! That's nowt to do with the internet, that's thick spanners that believe everything they read for ffs!

Maybe people should take an intelligience test before they are allowed to venture onto the internet [HASHTAG]#HiaGStorm[/HASHTAG]

This is part of the problem imo, that some people have completely rejected mainstream media for spreading 'lies and propaganda'

And have instead turned to spurious websites to get their info, and accept it all unquestioningly.

There’s plenty of it out there, but you can’t see it because you don’t want to see it.

Also, with almost all Government lies, there isn’t going to be a neatly compiled dossier of evidence by which to hang the guilty parties. In fact, governments generally work extremely hard to make sure there isn’t any. Sometimes, you have to use your intuition.

Personally I don't believe in God. But people who do would say that they have faith, and that is perfectly fair enough. Nobody is denying anybody their faith. But when people present conspiracies as truth, then they need to back it up with some evidence.
