I’ve seen a fair amount of you lot this season and you’ve been sussed out imo, simple as that.

Rodgers is buried in his ‘philosophy’ and will stick with it irrespective. Maddison staying or not will define next season for Leicester imo, as that lad is a cut above and while he stays Rodgers will get away with it imo.

Pretty sure Maddison will stay, although nothing is guaranteed. Him and Tielemans at the top of their game are a great combination and I'm hoping them and Ndidi will be the fulcrum of the midfield for the next couple of seasons. We need more quality cover, that's for sure. Time to let some move on.

It's part of the cyclical process tbh. 4 years ago when you guys finished 8th players weren't signing for the club or the project either, they sign for the money, the better facilities and the hope they'll improve and/or retire rich. Then they kiss the badge and fans kid themselves that their players care for their club more than other clubs players (who are obviously mercenaries). Man Utd are still a big pull, as Liverpool were then. I just don't think it's a part of the field Man Utd need to be putting their efforts into improving over other areas.

Things change pretty fast in football to be honest. Fans always talk about a "legacy" and it's only a year ago Man City were winning the title again having gained 198 points in two seasons. Now they are struggling to get 80 points - they'll be back of course.

Two years ago Man Utd finished 2nd (your boys were 4th) but it all gets airbrushed out in hyperbole about it taking "years" to get back up to the top. The margins are finer than that and Chelsea show it better than most. Win the league - look rubbish next season - win the league again - look rubbish again. It's only 8 years (?) since Man Utd were running away with the league - again.

A better keeper, a defender who is the person they thought they were getting with McGuire and a holding midfielder like Matic was 5-6 years ago and they'd be in the mix again i reckon.
